¹⁵“So when you ^(A)spread out your hands in prayer,
^(B)I will hide My eyes from you;
Yes, even though you ^(C)multiply prayers,
I will not listen.
^(D)Your hands are ^[a]covered with blood.

¹⁶“^(E)Wash yourselves, ^(F)make yourselves clean;
^(G)Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight.
^(H)Cease to do evil,
¹⁷Learn to do good;
^(I)Seek justice,
Reprove the ruthless,
^[b]^(J)Defend the orphan,
Plead for the widow.
